Therapy that fits you
From the comfort of your safest space.
Individuals (Adults and Teens)
We help individuals, both adults and teens (13+), develop a stronger sense of self, increase confidence and self-worth, and learn to manage anxiety, low mood, self-criticism, and overwhelming emotions. Together, we explore the patterns that keep you stuck, whether it’s overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or difficulty setting boundaries, and work toward lasting emotional balance and self-trust.
Couples
We help couples understand the underlying patterns and communication cycles that keep them feeling stuck or disconnected. Together, we work to rebuild trust, improve communication, and create intentional change toward a more secure, supportive, and meaningful connection.
Coaching
Our coaching work supports individuals who want to show up more authentically in their work and relationships, strengthen their self-awareness, and develop the emotional capacity and confidence to lead and live with clarity. Together, we explore the patterns, both internal and relational, that shape how you think, communicate, and make decisions, and we work toward creating change that feels both intentional and sustainable.
Hi, I’m Katelyn, a registered psychotherapist and founder of Stor(i).
At The Stor(i) Practice, we believe that every story is worth telling, and every person deserves the chance to rewrite their narrative. We are dedicated to helping you navigate life's complexities, build confidence, and uncover the path to a more fulfilling and authentic self.
With over a decade of experience in mental health and well-being, Katelyn’s background includes supporting families at CAMH, teaching yoga and mindfulness, and working closely with individuals and couples in private practice.
Katelyn’s personal experiences with low mood, anxiety, and self-doubt, alongside supporting loved ones through significant mental health challenges, have fueled her deep interest in self-worth, relationships, and the impact of our inner critic. These experiences have shaped her understanding of what keeps individuals stuck in cycles of overthinking, people-pleasing, or self-criticism, and how best to support them in building self-trust, confidence, and emotional resilience.
If you find yourself grappling with negative thoughts, self-doubt, low confidence, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling “not enough,” you’ve come to the right place. Together, we’ll explore how to quiet the inner critic, strengthen your sense of self-worth, and create meaningful, lasting change.
The meaning behind
Story:
In our experience, storytelling is integral to therapy. Clients often come to therapy with a narrative, often unconscious, about their history, relationships, hardships, and themselves. Stories help us sort through our thoughts and feelings, better understand our behavior, connect with others, shape our identity, and find meaning and purpose in our experiences.
(i):
The "i" represents "the self." In your sessions, Katelyn aims to create a space where you can quiet the external noise and tune into your true self, exploring who you are and what you truly desire.
How it works
In this meeting, you will simply get to know each other. Together you will explore why you reached out and what you hope to get out of therapy. Katelyn will answer any questions you have about her, her approach, and the process.
In this session she will gather a clearer understanding of your story and where she will be jumping in. You don’t need to prepare for this. Together you will develop concrete goals that you will work toward during your time together.
With a unique treatment plan, together you will begin to work toward accomplishing your goals. Depending on your needs, some sessions might be more exploratory, and some more action-oriented. Katelyn will check in with you every step of the way and is always open to course correction if something isn’t working for you.
